Deerwalk Learning Center, DLC, is a not-for-profit education organization established in 2016 under the Deerwalk Education Group. Flipped classes, by definition, “is a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed”. DLC, through this portal, aims at promoting flipped classes model across the country whereby students watch the lectures, in the form of short videos, in the home and utilize regular class hours for discussion.
Researches across the world have shown that student’s learning has significantly improved when taught in this model as compared to the traditional face-to-face model. We aim at improving the learning of each and every student of Nepal.
Deerwalk Compware is a subsidiary of Deerwalk Group and was founded in July 2017. It provides IT consulting services, custom software development and IT products distributor in Nepal. It provides a full spectrum of custom software services, with a focus on web and mobile application development. It covers all stages of the software development life cycle: from business analysis, design, and prototyping to the actual development, quality assurance, and post-project maintenance and support.
DWIT Job Fair 2017, organized by Deerwalk Institute of Technology, is a pioneer event to bridge a gap that exists between software companies and academic institutions of Nepal.
It, therefore, is an event where we intend to bring all the major established software companies of Nepal and job-seeking students in one place and let them interact. If there is a perfect match between applicant's skill set and kind of resource the company is looking for, one is certainly likely to get a job. However, there cannot be any guarantees.
The event is open to all the job-seekers and there is no entry fee.
